Zinbaco Bengals

Zinbaco Bengals was intended to be our cattery with the Zinbaco prefix registered with both TICA and GCCF.

Molly Tabit, preferred name Tabit or Tabs and HipHop Mintaka, preferred name Mintaka or Tinks were the founding queens.  We later decided not to breed from Tinks and as a result a new queen joined the family, Silver Sparkle.

In the end with full time work commitments we decided not to breed and kept them all as pets. This is the history of Zinbaco Bengals.

What does Zinbaco mean - absolutely nothing to anyone other than us and came about because of another interest Californian wine. Our favourite is a Zinfandel and one of our favourite wineries is Rancho Zabaco, who describe their Zinfandel as 'Big, Bold, Intense, Sexy...'. Take the 'Zin' from the wine variety and the 'baco' from the winery and you end up with ZINBACO - and maybe some Big, Bold, Instense, Sexy kittens.
